Google Art Project is a collaboration between Google and some of the world's leading art museums. The project allows users to view notable works of art from various museums through their computer.
Users can zoom in on a particular work of art or take a 'tour' of a museum. The tour feature utilizes the same technology as the street view on Google maps. This allows for the user to have a real eye level view of the museum and its works. Users could utilize the Art Project as a way to take an art vacation on a budget.
