Hobbies

There are a few resources in the NMTC library to support hobbies-just a few.
GALILEO offers resources, too:

....Auto Repair Reference Center for the car buff
....Ancestry-Library edition for the genealogist (this is new to NMTC and only available on campus)
....EbscoHost and ProQuest -(check the Publications list for your favorite magazine. Both databases will send you a reminder when they post the newest edition of your favorite magazine)

Have a fun weekend!

Thinking about college

It's July, pretty soon high school juniors will begin to dream of applying to college. What if it's been a year or two since you went to high school but you'd like to go to college now? How would you find information about which college to attend? You can search the internet for college information but it can be pretty hard to narrow down what you're looking for. In GALILEO there is a one stop resource for information about colleges-

College Source. A VIRTUAL LIBRARY REPRESENTING 31,686 COLLEGE CATALOGS in full cover-to-cover, original page format with 2-year, 4-year, graduate, professional and international schools.
