It's Spring and time for awards and honors.
Hooray for Scott Anderson one of the EMT instructors at NMTC. Captain Anderson was named Instructor of the Year by the Department of Human Resources northwest Georgia region.

Pigs in Heaven
Spring break is a wonderful time to select a fiction work and just read for fun. Try Barbara Kingsolver's book Pigs in Heaven (PS 3561 .I496 P54 2003).
Novelist (an Ebsco database available through GALILEO) notes four reviews, they provide a link to the authors web page and they have the first chapter of the book!

Spring break hours
The Library remains open during the NMTC Spring break.
We will have shorter hours on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday March 22 (8-5).
We will be "closed" on Friday March 24 (though we'll be in here working on library stuff)!
Our "normal" hours resume on Monday, March 26. We share the library with Georgia Highlands. Their Spring break will be over.

Exams
Last two days of the Winter quarter - exams are being given and taken - Spring break for NMTC starts on Wednesday.
Spring Quarter begins on April 4.
