Added a site

GALILEO offers librarians training in adding websites to "their" portion of GALILEO. You can find the sites that have been added to North Metro's portion of GALILEO by going to the search box Find databases by name (on the middle of the page toward the bottom). Type in nmtc.

Web sites have been added for most programs. You can search by your program name.

For Public Library Users

Just heard from GALILEO sources that Heritage Quest will be available to Public Library users in Georgia. The best news is it will be available at your home. Get the public library password to use GALILEO from your public librarian!

Ancestry.com Library Edition is available at your library but not at home.

These are two super resources for those who dabble in family history.

Who do you ask?

We have signs posted in Room 103 telling you to ask the Librarian for help in locating information or getting the computers to work.

If you aren't in Room 103 - who do you ask for research help?

There is a link in GALILEO for Ask-A-Librarian. It is not instant messaging. You send an e-mail that gets routed through GALILEO. It can take hours for the e-mail to get to the librarian. We do answer eventually.......

For quicker service you can telephone the library at 770-975-4122.
You may also e-mail the Librarian directly at library@northmetrotech.edu
