Did you get together with family over the 4th? Were stories shared? Is anyone writing down those precious family stories?
You can get facts about your family through Ancestry.com (only available in the library).
The stories bring the family to life for those who weren't there to experience the event.
In netLibrary there are books that can help you begin to put those stories in writing! Both basic genealogy books and how-to- write books are available on-line.
You do need to create your free account on campus to access netLibrary off campus.
An alternate route for the free acount in netLibrary off campus is to create a free account when you go through GALILEO.
GALILEO (the password changed the end of June)
....Databases A-Z
......Jump to N
.........Scroll to netLibrary
..........Upper right corner is the "create a Free Account" link
The password for home use of GALILEO is available to the citizens of Georgia from your librarian. Some resources noted in this BLOG are only available to NMTC patrons.

Calm before....
Last day of break. Summer Quarter starts on Monday. The Orientations yesterday had quite a few students for summer.
Monday is the celebration lunch at 11:30. It is great news to have been accredited by SACS-COC. It's always nice to have an outsider affirm that you're doing a good job.
