We the People

We the People of the United States,
.....(that’s all of us- you and me)

in Order to form a more perfect Union,
.....(better than the old country)

establish Justice,
.....(everyone is equal under the law)

insure domestic Tranquility,
.....(my neighborhood should be safe and so should your neighborhood)

provide for the common defense,
.....(we’ll fight together against attackers)

promote the general Welfare,
.....(we’ll look out for each other)

and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,
.....(we’ll be free people and so will our children and grandchildren)

do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
