Hooray for Hort

The PLANET team from North Metro Technical College participated in the 31st Annual PLANET Student Career Days at Michigan State University over the last few days. The team finished 6th among 55 colleges and universities. Once again ranking as the number one two year school!

The team also won the “cheering competition” at the opening ceremonies and won $1000 from the Ariens Company.

The 24 events are listed with student participation. Note for a two year school that where emphasis is on hands on skills how well they did in events such as Sales, Personnel Management, Business Management and Leadership. Overall we placed students in the top ten 14 times in the 24 events. Also remember there are as many as 85-90 people in many of these events.
