Marching through the weekend

Humming "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa would have been appropriate this weekend.
On May 14, 1897 "The Stars and Stripes Forever" was first publicly performed in Philadelphia for the unveiling of a statue of George Washington.
