The CTC Library: A Crash Course

Welcome to the first week of the new semester system here at Chattahoochee Technical College! You don't have to spend all your free time on campus parking or buying books; you may also browse your campus library during your free time. The libraries contain a vast Internet and print collection along with faxing, copying, printing, and group/quiet study areas.

Our policies and procedures for borrowing materials and accessing online accounts are the same for the eight library locations (one located on each campus). Materials may be checked out for three weeks except at the end of the semester. You may pick up or return materials to any CTC campus. You may also borrow books from our partner libraries at Kennesaw State University, Southern Polytechnic State University, and all other TCSG libraries or through our Interlibrary Loan program. For a quiet and clean environment, please keep all drinks, food, and children out of the libraries.

The library has more than 55,000 physical items plus 110,000 online resources. Our library website is the first step for any of your research needs. Students will find the library catalog, GALILEO, MLA & APA citation guides, Evaluating Websites guide, and more on the site! (Please come into the library or ask your instructors for the new GALILEO password.) Don’t forget to check out our Library Guides – individual webpages dedicated to specific classes, programs, and/or special topics.

The librarians and library assistants are always willing to help students, faculty, and staff. Check the library home page for hours and locations nearest you. The library staff cannot wait to meet you and help you with all your research needs!
