Now what?

Have you been to the doctor and heard something surprising? Where do you go for clear, easy to understand medical information?

In GALILEO there is a tab for Medicine & Health. There are a number of resources aimed to the professional and at the consumer.

The consumer sites are a bit easier to understand- one site is Consumer Health Complete. It is powered by Ebsco but it's not the traditional green and blue Ebsco layout. It is pleasing to the eye and seems easy to navigate for a person who wants specific information about something the doctor said.

The Quick Find terms are in "people" language but they do link to more "professional" terms. There is a Medical Dictionary link.
