Like the look

The Student databases through Ebsco just look and feel friendlier...try out:

Student Research Center (SRC) which is EBSCO's interface designed for students in grades 6 through 12.

Through the Student Research Center (SRC), users can pre-determine which content sources (e.g., Magazines, Newspapers, Biographies, Country Reports, Film & Video) will be included with their search. They can also search their databases by topic heading, make use of an online dictionary and encyclopedia, explore the top searches of the day, and limit their search according to appropriate Lexile reading levels.

Databases included in an SRC search are as follows:
American Heritage Dictionary
Columbia Encyclopedia
Columbia Granger's Poetry Database: School Edition
Health Source – Consumer Edition
Image Collection
MAS Ultra – School Edition
Middle Search Plus
Newspaper Source

The link to Title Lists gives you the alphabetical list of publications used to fill out the database.

To access this database at home, you go through GALILEO. Your Georgia librarian can give you the current password for GALILEO.
