They wrote a letter and won

The Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, in partnership with Target Stores and in cooperation with affiliate state centers for the book, invites readers in grades 4 through 12 to enter Letters About Literature, a national reading-writing contest.

The Library of Congress has announced the State winners for the Letters about Literature!

Georgia:
Level I grade 4-6: Katja Martin, Atlanta, wrote to Robert Frost, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Level II grade 7-8: Sang Ho Chun, Ringgold, wrote to Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
Level III grade 9-12: Linda Fong, Alpharetta, wrote to Kate Chopin, The Awakening
