The favorite conversation starter between adults and children is still an appropriate question at a time of career transition. What do you want to be? What skills do you have? Do you have to pay a career counselor to figure out what your skills are?

The Georgia Career Information Center has a wealth of information- 12 assessment tests including the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Assessment Battery). Skills assessment- what do you like to do? Job descriptions- how much does it pay. What is the job outlook- are you in a job that is downsizing its workforce?
